The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation recently announced the availability of boating and fishing education grants for 2011. Youth-focused boating, fishing and conservation organizations that introduce boating and fishing to minorities and underserved communities are encouraged to apply.

The National Recreation and Park Association and the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation have announced the recipients of the 2010 Take Me Fishing grant initiative.
This year, 70 agencies and organizations throughout the country received up to $5,000 for programs that will each serve a minimum of 2,000 youths by April 30, 2011.

At the ICAST Show in Las Vegas, Nevada in July, the Future Fisherman Foundation (F3) and Boy Scouts of America (BSA) signed a Memorandum of Mutual Support, agreeing to establish, strengthen and expand a relationship supporting each organization’s programs to promote conservation and education of America’s youth.
