We enjoyed the Backyard Bass so much last year at our River Festival! Can’t wait to get more sets this year!
I especially love the Backyard Bass for small kids who can’t really aim at our targets when casting, so we will help them cast and let them wind up a green fish, or orange, or blue!! Love the colors!

Vermont’s Let’s Go Fishing Program (LGF)purchased enough Backyard Bass to put into totes that will be traveling around the state and used by LGF instructors as they teach kids and their families the importance of aquatic ecology and fishing. The Bass are always a draw at LGF events and kids enjoy practicing their casting skills trying to “catch” one. We put various fish identification stickers on the back of the Bass, so when a kid “catches” a fish, he/she has to find out if it is a keeper by looking in the law digest.
